EazTimber ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party. Your data is used solely to provide and improve our services.

Local-Only Data
Data Stored Only On Your Device
The following data is stored only on your device using local SQLite storage and is never sent to our servers:
- Timber calculations — Cut Size, Round Log, Lagging, Cholsa
- Party names — customers/suppliers you create in the app
This means:
- This data never leaves your device
- We cannot access, view, or backup it
- Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all local data
- We are not responsible for loss of locally stored data

Authentication
Mobile Number & OTP
We use your mobile number solely for authentication via OTP. Your number is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
OTPs expire within 5 minutes and can only be used once. Never share your OTP with anyone.
App Permissions
Device Permissions
EazTimber requests the following device permissions:
- Camera — used solely to scan QR codes within the app. No images or video are stored or transmitted to our servers.
- Storage — used to save generated PDF reports to your device. Files are saved only when you explicitly request a report and are never uploaded to our servers.
- Internet — required for OTP authentication, subscription management, and push notifications.
- Notifications — used to send account activity and subscription alerts via FCM. You can disable notifications from your device settings at any time.
Third Parties
Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted third-party services:
- Razorpay — payment processing (governed by Razorpay's Privacy Policy)
- Firebase (Google) — push notifications via FCM
- Hostinger — cloud hosting for backend servers
These providers may collect data per their own privacy policies. We do not control their data practices.
Storage & Security

- Account data is stored on secure cloud servers
- All API communication uses HTTPS encryption
- Auth tokens are stored securely on your device
- We implement access controls to restrict data access
- OTPs and sensitive auth data are not stored in plain text
While we take all reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure. Please use a secure device and do not share your OTP with anyone.
Retention
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as it is active. If you delete your account:
- Your account is soft-deleted immediately
- Party records are retained for 30 days before permanent deletion
- Payment records may be retained up to 7 years for legal/tax compliance
- You can request earlier deletion by contacting us
Your Rights
Your Privacy Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal data (via Edit Profile)
- Delete your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account
- Request a copy of your data by contacting support
How to delete your account
- Open the Eaz Timber app and sign in.
- Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner of the Home screen.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm by tapping Yes, Delete in the dialog that appears.
Your account is deactivated immediately and your data is permanently removed within 30 days. Deleted accounts can be restored within that 30-day window by logging in again with the same mobile number.
User eligibility
Age Criteria
EazTimber is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it.
Updates
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or SMS. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
